OCTOBER 2
Who knew a movie about rebellious, Rock N' Roll loving, motorcycle riding youth with big-bad-80's hair and eternal bloodlust... could be so eternally re-watchable? The Lost Boys kicks off our Spooky Season screenings with a 4k restored screening that's a supernatural thrill to watch on our big cinema screen.
Joel Schumacher's teen vampire thriller blends horror, humor, and plenty of visual style with standout performances from a cast full of young 1980s stars. The Lost Boys also has a killer soundtrack (including an infamous concert scene with an often-memed muscle-bound saxophonist), so it's only fitting we got the best saxophonist on the island- Chase Ceglie & The Firehouse Band to blow your perm'd hair back with a live concert pre-film. Rejects Beer will also be sampling 3 beers in the lobby to slake your vampiric thirst!
Teenage brothers Michael (Jason Patric) and Sam (Corey Haim) move with their mother (Dianne Wiest) to a small town in northern California. While the younger Sam meets a pair of kindred spirits in geeky comic-book nerds Edward (Corey Feldman) and Alan (Jamison Newlander), the angst-ridden Michael soon falls for Star (Jami Gertz) -- who turns out to be in thrall to David (Kiefer Sutherland), leader of a local gang of vampires. Sam and his new friends must save Michael and Star from the undead.
