What started as an excuse to make movies with friends and screen them in our backyard has evolved into… well, pretty much the same thing but now in a theater! In it’s eighth year, the 9 Central Film Festival continues to be a platform for local
filmmakers of all experience levels to showcase their work and come together in celebration of the art of filmmaking.

With a diverse lineup of short films including comedies, documentaries, music videos, and more, there's something for everyone.

*Important note - each night is a different lineup of films and we screen roughly 10-15 shorts each night. We will announce the lineups two weeks before the event, as we take submissions until September, but you should probably just book the babysitter for the whole weekend now. Sound good?
