JAWS 4K RERELEASE END OF SUMMER SCREENINGS

Jaws is the QUINTessential movie to finish up the Summer season with a 4K Re-release! We needed a bigger theater back in May when the greater Rhode Island area flooded in for our early JAWS 50th screenings- now Newport becomes Amity Island again with a Labor Day frenzy for lovers of one of the JPT's most popular films. Quint, Brody, Hooper and JAWS return in a brand new 4k restoration for the nationwide re-release  of the greatest Summer blockbuster of all time on August 29th. We're brining back our famed JAWS party to kick the weekend off, followed by a full week of screenings!

There's nothing like seeing Jaws on the big screen with an shark-crazed audience of fans! When a young woman is killed by a shark while skinny-dipping near the New England tourist town of Amity Island, police chief Martin Brody (Roy Scheider) wants to close the beaches, but mayor Larry Vaughn (Murray Hamilton) overrules him, fearing that the loss of tourist revenue will cripple the town. Ichthyologist Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) and grizzled ship captain Quint (Robert Shaw) offer to help Brody capture the killer beast, and the trio engage in an epic battle of man vs. nature.
