"I'm your Huckleberry." Holster those pistols and saddle those horses- TOMBSTONE sets its spurs to the JPT!
Legendary marshal Wyatt Earp and his brothers, Morgan and Virgil, have left their gunslinger ways behind them to settle down and start a business in the town of Tombstone, Ariz. While they aren't looking to find trouble, trouble soon finds them when they become targets of the ruthless Cowboy gang. Now, together with Wyatt's best friend, Doc Holliday, the brothers pick up their guns once more to restore order as the Cowboy gang of renegade brigands and rustlers begins terrorizing the town.
You can make a strong argument that Tombstone is the greatest Western Hollywood ever made and I won't fight you- certainly not worth getting into a shootout at the OK Corral over! With its grand vistas, triumphant score, epic showdowns, endlessly quotable script, and truly one of the best actor ensembles ever assembled- Tombstone is a favorite film you see on the big screen when given the chance. Led by a career best Kurt Russell as Wyatt Earp and featuring a deliciously unhinged Michael Biehn as Cowboy leader Johnny Ringo, the picture really belongs to the marvelous Val Kilmer- who not only steals every scene he's in as the sardonic but deadly, vice-ridden gunslinger Doc Holiday, but gives one of the most memorable movie performances ever committed to screen.
Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer, Michael Biehn, Dana Delaney, Bill Paxton, Sam Elliot, Stephen Lang, Powers Booth, Joanna Pacula, Thomas Hayden Church, Michael Rooker, Dana Wheeler Nicholson, Billy Zane, Harry Carry Jr, and Charlton Heston.
