SNACKTIME LIVE IN CONCERT!

On Saturday April 18, presented by the Heritage Restaurant Group, the Philly-based 7 piece band SNACKTIME BLAZES NEWPORT.

Coming off their 2025 set at Newport Folkfest, SNACKTIME- a brass-heavy band that plays high-energy music blending funk, soul, punk, hip-hop, R&B, and jazz- can't wait to get back to Newport and rock the Jane Pickens Theater stage in a celebration of the high holiday, 4/20.

Newport Cannabis Co. and Aquidneck Island based edible company Rhodies are bringing the funk to Newport by not only presenting this show but also giving away a pack of edibles with every ticket purchased for the event, to elevate YOUR 4/20 snacktime during the concert. New England based musician Zane Christopher along with Newport's own Birdstick will join in on the fun in opening up the night for SNACKTIME. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the MLK Center food-bank as well as the New England Music Organization. NEMO is the driving force behind the concerts in Kings Park like NIMFest, the local NEE Jam at the Firehouse Theater as well as running a stage at the Broadway Street fair each year! Supporting sponsors for this event include Newport Craft Brewing, Canncure, Coast Cannabis, and Talaria, all of which are planning on giving away free products in support of this concert!

SNACKTIME began by performing free shows in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square in the summer of 2020. After attracting huge crowds in the park, the band played their first headlining club show and sold over 900 tickets. Things quickly progressed – the group started selling out headlining shows, supporting national touring artists including Portugal. The Man, and performing at major music festivals like Life Is Beautiful, Sound on Sound, Sea.Hear.Now., and Firefly.

2025 was a standout year for the band, with the release of their summer anthem “SUNSHINE” and uplifting single “ENOUGH.” They toured throughout the year, including festival sets at Newport Folk, Roots Picnic, Boston Calling, XPoNential, along with summer dates supporting Fitz and The Tantrums. Their set at Newport Folk Fest earned rave reviews from audience members! They are coming off their opening spot on the Electric Guest on tour in December 2025, and February 2026.
