"What's your favorite scary movie?" We're having a Halloween party with a slasher classic hitherto not screened at the JPT- the iconic (and original) Scream! Featuring an excitingly spooky set of music by the Firehouse Band pre-film and Narragansett Brewery in the lobby giving tastings of 4 beers, including their new Pumpkin Ale. Come with friends and if you feel the spirit wear a costume- All attendees in costume will receive a raffle ticket, the winning draw will get a $50 gift card!
Wes Craven re-invented and revitalized the slasher-horror genre with this modern horror classic, which manages to be funny, clever and scary, as a fright-masked knife maniac stalks high-school students in middle-class suburbia. Craven is happy to provide both tension and self-parody as the body count mounts - but the victims aren't always the ones you'd expect.
A year after the murder of her mother, a teenage girl is terrorized by a new killer, who targets the girl and her friends by using horror films as part of a deadly game.
Costume party w/ Live music by The Firehouse Band and Pumpkin Beer Tasting by Narragansett Brewery at 6:30, Film at 7:30!
