Sail Newport Presents Cole Brauer

On March 7, 2024, Sailor Cole Brauer crossed the finish line in the Global Solo Challenge and made history. After 27,000+ nautical miles of racing on her 40′ monohull, past the Three Great Capes of Africa, Australia, and South America, 130 days at sea, overcoming treacherous weather, mountainous waves, screaming gales, icebergs, frigid waters, a rib injury, and much more, she became the first American woman to race solo nonstop around the world!

Sail Newport will host a special presentation with Cole Brauer in Newport. This event is a chance to meet her and hear firsthand about her trials, tribulations and triumphs.
