A little magic is coming to the Jane Pickens Theater. Join us at our Midnight Margarita Soirée with enchanting Newport boutique Little Chateau, as we celebrate the Practical Magic sequel Tuesday, October 6th. Gather your coven for a night you won’t want to miss filled with shopping, live local music by The Poppies + film magic! Of course, midnight margaritas will be sold at concession!

6 pm: Doors open. Custom film merchandise at our pop-up by Little Chateau.  6:30 pm: Live performance by The Poppies.
7:30 pm: Practical Magic 2 on the big screen!

About the Film: See the sequel to one of the most beloved and bewitching movies of the 90's, Practical Magic! Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock are back! PRACTICAL MAGIC 2 returns to a world steeped in moonlit mischief and powerful ancestral magic, as two witches, the Owens sisters, must confront the dark curse that threatens to unravel their family once and for all in a must-see cinematic event of fun, magic and mayhem.

The Poppies are an acoustic musical duo out of Portsmouth, Rhode Island that feature the local harmonies and instrumentation of Julia Nasser and Madison DeLeone. The singer songwriter duo pulls inspiration from the music of the past and blends elements of blues, country, folk and rock into their collection of original music and unique covers. The duo is sometimes accompanied by other musicians for variations of sound and also works with other bands to add depth and texture of female vocal harmonization to enhance their project or performance.
