THE OUTSIDERS W/ STAR ACTOR C. THOMAS HOWELL IN PERSON!

JULY 30

The Outsiders: The Complete Novel

w/ Movie-Star C. Thomas Howell (Ponyboy Curtis) Live Intro & Q&A

Directed by one of the greatest movie-makers all-time, Francis Ford Coppola, The Outsiders is a deeply felt, sweeping adaptation of S.E Hinton's school-room-staple novel. Powerfully focused on character relationships, The Outsiders features a veritable who's-who of star-making performances: Matt Dillon, Ralph Macchio, Tom Cruise, Diane Lane, Rob Lowe- but none more critical than C. Thomas Howell cast as protagonist Ponyboy Curtis. We're thrilled to announce that celebrated actor C. Thomas Howell will be at the JPT in person to introduce The Outsiders and answer some audience questions after the film!

A teen gang in rural Oklahoma, the Greasers are perpetually at odds with the Socials, a rival group. When Greasers Ponyboy (C. Thomas Howell) and Johnny (Ralph Macchio) get into a brawl that ends in the death of a Social member, the boys are forced to go into hiding. Soon Ponyboy and Johnny, along with the intense Dallas (Matt Dillon) and their other Greaser buddies, must contend with the consequences of their violent lives. While some Greasers try to achieve redemption, others meet tragic ends.

In The Outsiders: The Complete Novel, director Francis Ford Coppola has revisited the epic with an added 22 minutes of footage that includes a beginning and ending more true to the book. Also featuring a new soundtrack of contemporary rock n' roll closer to Coppola's original vision, The Outsiders: The Complete Novel has achieved cult-favorite status as the definitive version amongst fans.

C. Thomas Howell will introduce the movie, and conduct a brief Q&A on stage after the movie completion. He will then be available in the lobby for a fan meet-and-greet for an addition ticket price! Purchase Meet And Greet Tickets Here
