Attention seekers of Truth, Beauty, Freedom, and Love! The JPT will transform into the illustrious MOULIN ROUGE on Wednesday, February 12th. Experience a screening of the beloved jukebox musical romance on the beautiful big screen. Directed by legendary Baz Luhrman, Moulin Rouge was a big success in 2001, nominated for 8 Oscars including Best Picture and Best Actress (Kidman). The appreciation for it's unique cocktail of theatrics, popular music, vibrant art direction, and romantic performances fueled the film's cult fandom and spawned a massively popular Broadway musical.

To celebrate Valentine's Day we're screening the movie with a live band performance by local rock/pop stars MOTION AVENUE playing their own medley of vintage hits (including songs from the movie) pre-film! Ticket holders may also enjoy a Valentines drink tasting in the lobby (Aperol Spritz, Hampton Water Rose, and 1912 Cranberry Cider).

A young Englishman (Ewan McGregor) in the Paris of 1899, becomes infatuated with Satine (Nicole Kidman), a singer at the Moulin Rouge. However, she has been promised by the manager to a Duke in return for funding his next production. As the young lovers meet in secret, Satine's wedding day draws closer but she hides a fatal secret from both Christian and the Duke.
