Starring an incredible cast of Naomie Harris, André Holland, Mahershala Ali, Janelle Monáe and Trevante Rhodes, Moonlight won Best Director, Best Supporting Actor (Ali), and Best Picture Academy Awards.

A look at three defining chapters in the life of Chiron, a young black man growing up in Miami. His epic journey to manhood and self-discovery is guided by the kindness, support and love of the community that helps raise him.

Lauded not only for its exceptional filmmaking craft and deft thematic treatment of modern sexual identity and masculinity, Moonlight was also a landmark depiction of the African-American and Gay-American experience, serving as the first mass-marketed LBGTQ-themed feature film with an all-black cast.
