To our valued patrons

We at the JPT value the comfort, health, and safety of our patrons above all else. Though the risk of contracting the (Covid-19) Coronavirus in Rhode Island remains low, we recognize there is some concern of gathering in public places.

We want to assure our customers that we are taking all proper precautions in accordance with the state of Rhode Island guidelines and are committed to sustaining the Jane Pickens as a welcoming and safe environment for the community.

These efforts include:

1. Diligent wiping down and disinfecting of all surfaces, railings, door handles, and cash registers in between shows and at the end of the night by front-of-house staff. We are doing deep cleaning of our space and recently professionally steam cleaned our hardwood floors including our beautiful stage.

2. Opening of the balcony during everyday shows in case customers desire more space to enjoy movies. For our larger events we are reducing the number of tickets available for sale to allow for social distancing.

3. Here are the options we offer if you have purchased an advance ticket and choose not to attend. You may use your tickets for a future screening when things settle down, consider your ticket purchase a donation to your hometown theater or we will issue a refund. Please just let us know what you would like to do.

We are closely monitoring the situation and urge customers to be vigilant. As of now all of our exciting programming remains active and we are open for business.

If you are feeling ill, we encourage you to please stay home (the same goes for our staff), and we eagerly look forward to seeing you back at the theater again soon.

Sincere wishes of health and film enjoyment,
