Spencer Tracy's Oscar is Coming to The JPT!!!

In celebration of Boys Town's 100th Anniversary, Boys Town New England invites you to a FREE screening of the Oscar-winning movie, Boys Town.

The real Oscar won by Spencer Tracy for this film will be on display at The JPT that night

And a reminder that we were showing films in 1938 at The JPT (then known as The Strand

The festivities begin with a fun cocktail hour from 6 to 7 p.m., prior to enjoying this 1938 classic starring Spencer Tracy and Mickey Rooney.  This film focuses on Father Edward J. Flanagan, whose philosophy that no boy will grow up bad if given a chance in life culminates in his formation of Boys Town in Omaha, Nebraska. Unable to raise funds through "proper" channels, Flannagan finds that his staunchest supporters are the workaday folks. Maybe no difference than raising funds with Kickstarter today!

You'll have an opportunity to meet Boys Town New England staff and community leaders who are dedicated to our mission of saving children and healing families. Please join us for an exciting evening celebrating Boys Town's century of service to America's children, families and communities.

Doors open at 6:00
